Georgina’s Place is situated on the beach front and is a secluded romantic studio retreat set in native bushland. You will look out between the trees down the little path to the beach and the sea. There is a wide deck on two sides of the house where you can sit and watch nature at work, take in the sunset over the bay and later in the evening hear the penguins calling.
Sleeping accommodation includes a double brass bed and a double bunk. It is entirely open-plan with the bathroom on the back verandah.
Georgina’s Place is self-contained with a few basic provisions in the cupboard but mainly you bring what you need in the way of food and drinks. There are several places to snack or dine in Penneshaw and Kingscote or you can buy local produce from the different providers on the Island. The closest store is located at Penneshaw.
There is a reverse cycle air conditioner, a slow combustion heater, TV, stereo, video, DVD and microwave.
